Sr. Financial Data Analyst
Job Description
Grimmway Produce Group seeks a Sr. Financial Data Analyst in Shafter, CA (onsite) to transform financial and operational data into actionable insights.
Responsibilities
- Translate complex financial and operational datasets into accurate, actionable insights.
- Establish a single primary source of truth for enterprise financial data across multiple systems.
- Focus on financial analysis, reporting, and data validation as core activities.
- Collaborate closely with Accounting/Finance, IT, and Farming and Production Operations while maintaining a distinctly analytical focus.
Requirements
- Undergraduate or graduate degree in Finance, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in financial analysis, reporting, or business intelligence.
- Solid understanding of data warehouses, data structures, financial data flows and AI tools, with strong SQL skills for data extraction, analysis, and validation.
- Strong experience with Power BI or Tableau and financial reporting dashboards.
- Excellent Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word skills.
- Proven ability to validate, reconcile and troubleshoot complex data sets with a commitment to accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate information into an organized, presentable format.
- Flexible and adaptable to change.
- Remote work is not available for the first two years.
- Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean DMV driving record.
- Must pass pre-placement drug and alcohol screen and background check.
