Senior Data Analytics Engineer
Job Description
Propelus is looking for a Senior Data Analytics Engineer who can transform raw data into actionable insights and steadily evolve analytics infrastructure. This remote role collaborates closely with data scientists, product managers, and engineers to power data-driven decision making and support compliance management technology across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from diverse sources into the data warehouse.
- Design, build, and optimize data models to meet analytical needs and reporting requirements.
- Collaborate with data scientists to deploy machine learning models and analytical solutions.
- Monitor data quality and resolve data integrity issues as they arise.
- Contribute to data documentation and metadata management practices.
- Engage with stakeholders to understand data needs and translate them into technical specifications.
- Assist in evaluating and implementing new data technologies and tools.
- Participate in code reviews and help shape coding standards and best practices.
- Independently manage assigned tasks and projects to ensure timely delivery and quality results.
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve data processes and systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or a similar role.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and data warehousing services (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery).
- Familiarity with data testing frameworks.
- Experience with ETL tools and techniques (Apache Airflow, dbt).
- Solid understanding of data modeling principles and data warehouse architecture.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with at least one programming language (Python, Java).
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Proficiency in version control with Git.

Compensation
Salary range: USD 100,000 to 140,000 per year. On target earnings are DOE and fall within the same range. The posted range reflects typical compensation for this role and may be adjusted based on education, experience, skills, location, and market data; additional benefits are detailed in the job posting.
