Fundraising Data Analyst

Overview

Feed My People Food Bank is seeking a Fundraising Data Analyst to support its development team through donor database and CRM management. The role involves learning and leveraging CRM capabilities, ensuring data accuracy, supporting fundraising and marketing initiatives, developing reports, and identifying opportunities to streamline processes and improve organizational efficiency. The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, analytical, collaborative, and dedicated to maintaining accurate and confidential donor information.

Responsibilities

• Learn and utilize CRM features, workflows, and reporting capabilities
• Build reports, dashboards, and queries as requested
• Assist the Development and MarComms team by providing data support for mailings, appeals, campaigns and events
• Assist in routine audits and clean-up of databases
• Provide back up for Donor Records Specialist at the direction of the Development Director
• Identify trends and patterns in donor data to optimize fundraising efforts
• Collect and analyze data related to fundraising campaigns and donor behaviors
• Participate in regular team meetings to discuss findings and strategy adjustments
• Help improve CRM processes and data quality
• Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in all donor data management
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
• Experience working with donor databases and CRM systems
• Experience with data analysis, reporting tools, or fundraising analytics beneficial
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently
• Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
• Collaborative, proactive, and team-oriented work style
